Council prepares draft documents for exhibition. The community is invited to comment on these documents.

Comments are considered by Council before adoption.  Documents are open for comment for a period of 28 days.

EXTENSION OF PUBLIC CONSULTATION PERIOD

Due to amendments to Councils DRAFT Operational Plan incorporating the 2017/18 Budget & Revenue Policy, Council has extended the deadline for public comments.

DRAFT OPERATIONAL PLAN INCLUDING 2017/18 BUDGET AND REVENUE POLICY

The Draft Operational Plan 2017-2018 is Councils “Action Plan” for the next 12 months.  It sets out those parts of the Delivery Plan that will be delivered in the 2017-18 financial year.

The operational plan underpins our future to:

– Achieve financial sustainability
– Build an organisation to meet contemporary local government standards
– Detail service standards and required resources
– Maintain our existing assets before building new ones

The operational plan also includes the 2017/18 Budget and Revenue Policy which details Council’s objectives, activities, actions and detailed revenue and expense estimates (budget) and fees and charges for the 2016/2017 financial year.

Hard copies of the Draft Operational Plan including the Budget and Revenue Policy will be located at the following businesses:

DRAFT DELIVERY PROGRAM

– Draft document open for comment –

The 2017-2021 Delivery Program is designed as the single point of reference for all activities undertaken by a Council during their elected term of office. All plans, projects, activities and funding allocations are directly linked to the Delivery Program. The Resourcing Strategy documents, which include the Asset Management Plans, Workforce Management Plan and Long Term Financial Plan, have been implemented to support, resource and develop this Delivery Program.
