Community Transport

This trial will compliment the existing monthly bus runs to Mildura and Swan Hill operated by Balranald Hospital. For simplicity, the existing service will be amalgamated into this trial. Being a trial, a review will be conducted on the operational aspect of the trial and modifications will be made if necessary to ensure the people of the Shire receive the best and fairest possible service.  The trial will continue for 15 months or until the funds are exhausted. This trial aims to address the needs of the transport disadvantaged in Balranald Shire. This operational guide is designed to ensure stakeholders understand and agree on how the trial should be conducted. Being a trial, the stakeholders will review the operational aspect of the trial and where agreed should modify the process to ensure the people of the Shire receive the best and fairest possible service.
