On 24 January 2019, the former Minister for Local Government, the Hon Gabrielle Upton MP appointed Roslyn McCullock as Commissioner to hold a Public Inquiry under section 438U of the Local Government Act 1993 into Balranald Shire. The public hearings to be held as part of the inquiry will take place at the Balranald Shire Council Chambers commencing at 10am on Wednesday 31st July 2019. – Click here for further details.
